Traceroute
Traceroute, Tracert, Trace or Tracepath all mean the same thing: displaying the ‘path’ of data packets through the Internet. The traceroute programme ‘moves’ from router to router until it finally reaches its destination (target).
Test the ‘path’ of the data packets from www.init7.net to your computer. This may take a while, so please be patient. If only * * * stars are displayed after a certain hop, a firewall is probably preventing further display.
